Laurie Schmitt LMT, Ortho-Bionomist

I graduated from the Myotherapy Institute with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in 2003. I am a member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International® and a registered Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy.® I am currently finishing my training to be an instructor of Ortho-Bionomy®. I have taken training in Cranial Sacral, Visceral,Reflexology, Donna Eden Energy Work®, Cupping, Neuromuscular, Eastern Meridian Work.
My philosophy in my practice is to assist, educate and empower my clients on their healing journey. I work "with" vs. working"on" my clients. I create a safe space and meet people where they are. We work together in finding comfort within the discomfort and honoring what arises.

I do what I do because I love working with people on their healing life journeys. Assisting them to become of aware of the patterns their bodies have created but that are no longer serving them and then to assist them in finding new ways of being. That makes every day of work worth it!
I love spending time in the great outdoors with family and friends. I love hiking, golfing,, fishing, reading and just playing. I've been married for 26 years to one of the most wonderful and supporting man on earth. We have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I love to keep learning.
